Our flagship application set to revolutionise community engagement is scheduled to be released next week.

The gaming world is evolving, with players in pursuit of more immersive experiences. At XBorg, we firmly believe that Web3 is the key to unlocking a new chapter for fans and gaming organisations alike.

Fundamentally, Web3 is a set of tools that allows us to provide enhanced user experiences. While XBorg has a deep-rooted affinity for Web3, we recognise the importance of creating seamless experiences for all players, regardless of their familiarity with blockchain. Thus, we’ve created the GamerBase brand.

Introducing GamerBase

GamerBase is a Social MMO Playground where gaming communities can build immersive and gamified experiences for their players and fans. From indie developers to esports teams, content creators, and competitive guilds, each community curates its “Base” to offer unique experiences for its users.

While GamerBase will be home to many gaming communities, it is also used as the underlying technology for the fan applications of some of the largest esports teams and brands in the world. These fan apps are built on the same foundational technology and offer the same rich features but are packaged differently for each team or brand. In essence, every time a player interacts with one of these fan apps, they’re experiencing the power and versatility of GamerBase. Stay tuned, we’ll be announcing these partnerships in the coming months.

Gamification and Digital Identities

Each player has been on their unique adventure, shaped by the games they’ve fallen in love with, the worlds they’ve lost themselves in and their communities that have become family. GamerBase gives players the power to create and showcase their experiences as their unique gaming ID.

When users engage with their gaming communities on GamerBase, they’ll earn digital collectibles in various forms — from gaming cards that highlight their in-game achievements to 3D avatars with wearables that have unique utilities. For instance, an esports team might establish a governance section exclusively for fans who own a specific collectible, earned by continuously supporting the team. Or a new FPS game could recruit beta testers who have proven their prowess with a K/D > 1.5 in CS:GO. Ultimately, players gain a richer, bespoke experience, while gaming communities can utilise sophisticated tools to revolutionise their fan engagement.

Bridging Web2 and Web3

GamerBase is a gaming application that does not interact with blockchain technology, NFTs or cryptocurrency at its current stage. However, it’s worth noting that there are exceptions for the underlying technology:

Some fan apps we are developing for enterprise clients, like esports teams and brands will utilise NFTs. This integration is seamless for players indifferent to NFTs, yet it also accommodates those interested in claiming ownership of their digital assets and moving their inventory on-chain. The same logic applies to the main GamerBase app. While it currently doesn’t interact with blockchain or NFTs in any way, we plan to eventually offer the option for users to move their collectibles on-chain.
