XBorg Year In Review: 2024
Welcome to our 2024 Year in Review, where we reflect on last year’s incredible milestones, achievements, and growth within the XBorg ecosystem. From product launches to an all-time high of community engagement, here’s how the year went:
Monthly Recap
January: We kicked the year off with a bang, launching our first flagship application, GamerBase and announcing our partnership with the legendary esports team Ninjas in Pyjamas.
February: We announced our XBG Presale and the Prometheus Chestplate NFT mint. GamerBase welcomed new communities in Shrapnel and Parallel and announced its Play-To-Airdrop.
March: We minted the Prometheus Chestplate NFT on Magic Eden. The Genesis Prometheus NFT started its art upgrade hibernation. We released our Litepaper and announced our partnership with Team Liquid, the world’s biggest esports team.
April: Our $1,000,000 KOL round was announced, with participation from Alex Becker, Dingagling, Ivan on Tech and more. 1.5% of the XBG supply was allocated to the Prometheus NFT airdrop, and the XBG Presale started.
May: The XBG Presale closed with over $5,700,000 in funds raised. We also launched The Dojo in partnership with Ninjas in Pyjamas and added top talent to our team, Nicolas Marx, the ex-Senior Product Designer at Blitz.
June: We ended the first half of 2024 by partnering with Wormhole to allow $XBG to be cross-chain on Day 1, and together with Team Liquid and Sui, we opened early-access signups for MyBlue.
July: We started the second half of 2024 with a bang, releasing our XBorg Improvement Proposal #14. This proposal suggested launching on-chain and unlocking community investor tokens instead of launching on CEXs. Our community voted yes.
August: The XBG token was launched with much volatility on Day 1. The XBG Reward Program was also introduced, featuring a 1,000,000 XBG prize pool to reward loyal holders. We also announced our partnership with Kamino to incentivise liquidity provision on Solana.
September: We held our first companion concept art contest. XBG got listed on CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko. The XBorg team attended Token2049 Singapore, and the XBG Reward Program underwent many changes for Season 2.
October: The Gaming Protocol Race was released, sparking much controversy, along with our memes on X. We also announced our Creator Program and MyBlue’s Halloween contest. XBG hit an all-time high, soaring over 150%, and Cyberlink #16 was released.
November: Team Liquid’s MyBlue started their launch campaign, recording over 150,000 quests completed and onboarding 10,000 users. We introduced Chomp, our new mascot, who is now becoming the face of XBorg.
December: We started the global community growth campaign, adding 6,839 new XBG holders. The art upgrade for the Prometheus NFT was revealed. Our 2025 Road To The Top was announced. We held a 7 Days of XMas, and the XBorg Improvement Proposal #20 was announced to allocate a budget for a Hyperliquid spot listing.
Community & Growth
2024 was a fantastic year for community and growth at XBorg. While it was a tough year for many, our community pulled together, showed grit and made difficult decisions that paid off massively. These actions didn’t just help us, they helped other communities too. We currently have 25,373 XBG holders, and we’re growing rapidly. From everyone on the XBorg team, we’d like to thank you all for your continued support and contribution.
Looking Ahead
2024 has been an extraordinary year, but it’s just the beginning. As we move into 2025, we’re doubling down on scaling our Fan App product, building out our identity infrastructure and launching new innovative products.
